ok, forgot my last message...I managed to get the rtapi module to load. I finally found the right spot to add the mcmodel=kernel option and emc gets past the rtapi loading.
Then 'motmod' module gave me trouble. It said the following symbols are undefined: cos, sin, atan2, acos. I had to go back into RTAI 'make menuconfig' and enable the 'Math fun support'...I assume that is a type for Math func support or something. I also had to edit /usr/local/etc/emc2/rtapi.conf and specify the location of the new rtai_math.ko module that was build as the location was blank in this config file. Finally, I have emc2 axis up and running on Ubuntu Hardy. I got some realtime delay warnings...I think this may be because my machine is turned off perhaps. Its late and I need to hit the sack. Later. :) Colin ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
