On the other hand, bouncing does not make sense for encrypted messages

new thread, describing specifically what enigmail errors you're seeing
when you do not strip

Occasionally I and my colleagues need to forward encrypted e-mails
from one to another. Also occasionally the forwarded messages are
encrypted to the original recipient only, and end up unreadable by the
forward recipients.

and Enigmail 1.9.9), but I'm having some trouble.
On the command line, gpg works fine: I can sign, encrypt, and decrypt
messages. Gpg-agent is running and correctly pops up a graphical
keyentry windows. So everything look
