You can still create RSA manually, but the default is ECC.

Interop question here: how does this play in for users using other keys,
by older GnuPG versions and be that in Autocrypt or pEp mode; will RSA

I'm pleased to announce the 2nd beta version of Enigmail 2.1 for
Thunderbird 68.
Due to several deep changes in Thunderbird, Enigmail 2.1 only works with
Thunderbird 68, and Enigmail 2.0.* only with Thunderbird 60.*.
