On your advice I edited the message header and did what stripEmail
should've done - I removed the brackets etc and kept only the email
address, and now Enigmail is able to process the message. Based on the

I don't see any gpg.exe processes running while it is "waiting" on
importing the key. I see scdaemon.exe and gpg-agent.exe. Progress bar is
still all gray as if nothing is going on.
