Hello Everyone,
I'm using Thunderbird 45.6.0 with Enigmail 1.9.6.1 on both Microsoft
Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux 16.04. I've set the
extension.enigmail.protectHeaders to 'true' because I want to use
PGP/MIME to encrypt my message headers as well as the message.
Most of the time, this works with n

I go through the other details, I see no errors of key fetching so I
don't know which key(s) isn't working.
Is there any way for me to figure this out? I don't mind /getting/ the
message, I just want to know what's causing it.

I looked through configuration options in both Enigmail and in

Where do I go to change from MIME to inline?

Hello Again Everyone,
This problem started with 1.7.x and seems to persist into the new
beta. It might be something wrong with one of the keys I'm encrypting
to but I can't figure out which key it might be or what might be wrong.
For some reason, w

Thanks!

Sorry for bothering everyone. I see the problem is indeed fixed in

A friend of mine and I were poking around with fingerprints and
noticed a discrepancy. He is on Windows 7 and I am on Xubuntu. Both of
us are using Enigmial 1.6. However, when we look at a keys fingerprint
using Enigmail, we get different results.

But I do have the public key to everyone. That's why I said I am able
to encrypt to them if I disable PGP/MIME. I have their keys, it's just
failing to do anything when I enable PGP/MIME. The funny thing is, it
has worked before. It just su

PGP/MIME in the P-R rule, all is back to normal.
Any ideas what might be going on? I'm running Xubuntu 12.04 with the
latest Thunderbird and Enigmail 1.5.2.
Thanks,

Thank you, Ludwig,
I went and looked in my spam folder and no answer was there. But I'll

I've verified that the key works (I can clearsign from the command line)
so I suspect the problem is specifically with Enigmail.
Can anyone offer me help or advice on how to fix this?

Hello Everyone,
I've been an Enigmail user for a while but I've recently run into a
problem I can't solve. When I try to sign mail, a box pops up telling me
that I'm using a bad passphrase. The problem is that Enigmail never
actually asks me for a passphrase and I have no way to enter it.
