Chris Lamb of the Reproducible Builds project points out that most enigmail .xpi files contain an artifact based on the filesystem sort order of the build machine. (https://bugs.debian.org/901611)
This makes it hard to reliably reproduce a bit-identical .xpi from
source. Reproducible builds are expected of most free software today.
Chris offered a small patch to fix the build for the
enigmail-2.0-branch, which i've posted here:
https://gitlab.com/enigmail/enigmail/merge_requests/7
It would be great to have it merged to enigmail-2.0-branch.
