Why did you disable DRI (Direct Rendering Infrastructure,

Make sure your kernel modules are loaded, and make sure your XF86Config
has something like

After a year or so, I decided to start playing with enlightenment again,
I checked out the sources from CVS and built them all successfully. I
put "/usr/local/bin/enlightenment" as the only line in my .xinitrc. Now,
I am currently running KDE 3.1 with no graphical problems, using a Rage
