Hi,
I made a gsoc proposal about this topic. I'd like to implement this as a
module, wich would hold other modules, such as places, ibox, mail, etc. I
attached my proposal to this mail.

don't forget to do a touchscreen gui, some netbooks have a touchscreen
screen and I think in the futur all netbooks will have one.

Do we realistically have the resources to perform the necessary
