Unless you *really* want E16.5, I strongly suggest that you get the E16.6-pre7
and fnlib RPM's for RH9 from the download page.
Do *not* use --force or --nodeps, the prerequisites are all part of

Well, I take it you're using redhat, as you're using RPMs... It's generally
a good idea to install all dependant packages, because if you're missing something
fundamental, things won't work
