The bot that I use can do this (~tell nick message) but it was
banned as all others are.
I know it was a tad noisy but I could turn off all features apart from
that and it could be unbanned maybe?
I find bots useful for this purpose. It could be tweaked to also replay
messages mentioning
I am strongly in favor of Michael's opinion. too many bots add too
much spam/noise in the channel.
As raster pointed out you can reach him by mail if you miss him on the
channel or take advantage of the memoserv in freenode to send a memo
to the user you wish if you don't catch 'em online.
