Hi, We now have a new 4096 bits SSL certificate on e2 and e5 for every SSL communication. Certificate is provided by CAcert, valid for 3 years (Class 3 cert), it's registered for domain enlightenment.org and all every subdomain (*.enlightenment.org).
subject= /CN=enlightenment.org issuer= /O=CAcert Inc./OU=http://www.CAcert.org/CN=CAcert Class 3 Root X509v3 Subject Alternative Name: DNS:enlightenment.org DNS:*.enlightenment.org CAcert is not in trust wallet on every browsers as it's an free project and don't have any financial indemnification. You will not have to register enlightenment.org certificate in your trust, but the CAcert one that are available here : http://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3 Compared to commercial CA, it need physical meeting between people to be able to get some points before a final graduation for long term valid certificate. Depending on what you trust the best (people or money ?). Certificate is used to encrypt HTTPS and mail for now. -- Beber
