I've been encountering some strange errors on my gentoo system lately.
I would normally submit a bug report to the gentoo bugzilla, but aspects
of the problem seem to be e-cvs specific. Note, I have been compiling
e-cvs without any problems in the past and I know to do ldconfig and
have /usr/local/lib set in /etc/ld.so.conf. I also have been doing a
make distclean to make sure old configurations aren't interfering. I
rebuilt all of the EFL without problems, excepting the aclocal warnings.
automake-1.8.5-r1
For all packages (including none efl stuff), I get a long series of
warnings such as:
/usr/share/aclocal/xmms.m4:62: warning: underquoted definition of
AM_PATH_XMMS
/usr/share/aclocal/wxwin.m4:36: warning: underquoted definition of
AM_OPTIONS_WXCONFIG
/usr/share/aclocal/wxwin.m4:59: warning: underquoted definition of
AM_PATH_WXCONFIG
...
For certain efl projects, compilation will stop with a lib error. Here
are a few:
Entice:
