Dan,
The attachment has everything you need to manually build eapps
or .directory.eapp's. I downloaded the original from get-e.org and
modified them slightly for each purpose.
Open builddir.sh with your favorite text editor and edit -set-name to
what you want to be displayed in your menu execute
I was browsing about E-users today and noticed what appears to be
directory icons on some screen shots namely this one
