Hi,
I have been experiencing some keybindings lockups lately. By lockups I
mean, sometimes the keybindings, e.g. for changing the desktop don't
work, and I have to switch desktops using the pager, after that they
work fine again. Similar thing when starting eterm with keybindings,

fullscreen mode, and it looks like we all can't agree on exactly how it
should work. Configurable will make us all happy, except maybe the
developers who have more work to do. Or they could just do what they

I tried to compile the snapshots in
http://enlightenment.freedesktop.org. After getting esmart-0.9.0.004
installed, I compiled emotion-0.0.1.004 with a few added
#include directives, but compilation of
enlightenment-0.16.999.015 fails with:
make[4]: Entering directory
`/usr/local/src/enlighten
Thank you both!

use xev and in the created windows press you desired button you
should see many outputs and look after this part
(keysym 0xff61, Print)
hope you will find out how to use xev.
another useful program from X is "xwininfo" ... it will not help you
