well if you check temp, battery etc. modules, they actually poll for
information independently of gadcon instances

I don't understand much about programing, so I don't know how easy/hard
this is to implement, but it would look great if when you changed your
virtual desktop the refresh happend in the direction you're moving. Ex:
from left to right, if going to the Desktop on your right.
Obviously, but the module should probably hold the last good info instead of
reverting to blank.

they well, get overlapped. Just remember that you need to set it to true
for ALL modules on one edge and also the shelves need to be set "below
windows / everything" for it to move over that area.
Try testing with just 1 module to see how it works...
