Just for fun, I tried idesk which is much lighter and simpler than Rox.
However, while it does offer some sort of transparency which Rox does not

I am having a bloody hell of a time trying to get eap's made with
desired .png files. After searching the list and get-e.org I have been
unable to find any requirements as far as the actual icon picture goes.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry for my bad english if I'm not clear.
I know rox commands and his pinboard, because I use it with fluxbox one
year ago.
But I have a bug with e17.
I don't want transparency, only the pinboard with my favorites icons.
I hope that obscure the entire E17 canvas (but not the Shelf).

My opinion is that we should disable ecore-fb by default until someone fixes

Excuse-me, what I meant was using th pinboard, not the pannel. So, the
good command that don't works is rox -p="1", not rox -t|-r|-l|-b ="1".
The pinnboard works correctly in root mode, not in user mode (with a
console or the run command of e17.

first of all, what are you talking about e16 or e17 ?!
I think that is e17, and it does actually work pretty fine for a
developpement version.
This developpement version is provided with even less warranty than e16 which is
released ! Use it at your own risks ;p It might crash (well, it does

Simple task like adding a launcher to the panel results in
enlightenment crashing, so this
