Running an Enlightenment build that was compiled last weekend so maybe this
was addressed in SVN already, but whenever I browser for files (such as
through themes module->import) the left most section of the selector window
flickers in and out freaking out. Anyone else have this issue?

Same here. Built last night, but been doing this for a while. Seem to
remember it did the same a couple of months ago too but got fixed. Makes
choosing directory a tad tricky :)

Just to clarify, if I change theme it slows down and it is randomly showing
.desktop files relating to partitions from my backup drive that is not
mounted. Not even plugged in, in fact.

found in .e/e/fileman/favorites/ . The file in question was referencing a
usbdrive that was no longer connected but the filename had a | in it. I have

Correction, I just connected a USB drive to the computer, and once mounted
via fileman it recreates the .desktop file I was referring to in my last
email.
Thankfully it does not reproduce the error once the drive is disconnected. I
have now tried several usb devices and each connects and disconnect

(hopefully). I am on Ubuntu 10.10 32bit with all E17 related auto
mounting turned off in the fileman configurations, and without the places
module activated. I assume this means that all mounting and unmounting tasks
are handled by u
