I assume that e17 v0.17.1 fits your question. Because it's already in Debian
experimental.

I run Debian 6 with unstable packages, and the only thing that stopped
me from a successful build with the last release was the Wayland
packages. I could disable that, however, and it built fine. I haven't
tried this latest release.
What's the issue?
