I do have a tty, but my TV and video card are not playing nice on the

don't enable the wl module - it's auto-loaded if e finds itself needing to be a
wl compositor. dont manually load it..
log into a tty and just run enlightenment_start. assuming your distro provided
a systemd+logind session in a tty of course.
