Hi all. I use NetworkManager, and use the Gnome Control Center to configure
it - particularly connecting to to wifi networks.
There seems to be something not running under E that the control center
needs. When I click on a network that needs a password, nothing happens. If
I log out of E and log i

Mmm, are you sure ? why not split the space, as when you "split V" ?
At least it could be a user choice
