The evas examples on the website correspond to the old version of evas that some of the outdated programmer guides document.
I was going to attempt to update them to work with the new CVS version of evas however I never got around to completing that task (as I still am new to evas as well.) Maybe someone else could tackle this? It would be nice to have a few simple demos. -Alex On Thu, 2004-05-13 at 08:09, phriedrich wrote: > Hi, > > I just downloaded the evas_examples_01.tar.gz and tried to compile some of > them, but without success. > > It's a bit strange, because I downloaded the complete cvs-repository some > weeks ago and compiled (and installed) all the libs and even some apps. > > So I'm for example able to compile and run the iconbar or entiece. > > I only can imaging, that the evas_examples are not matching to the > current version of evas... > > Could someone clear me up? > > Regards, > > Friedrich > > > Post Scriptum: > Part of the failure messages when trying to compile evas_eg_1: > > ---------------------------snip---------------------------------------- > main.c:28: error: parse error before "render_method" > main.c:28: error: `RENDER_METHOD_ALPHA_SOFTWARE' undeclared here (not in a > function) main.c:28: warning: data definition has no type or storage class > main.c: In function `ecore_idle': > main.c:33: error: `evas' has an incomplete type > main.c: In function `ecore_window_expose': > main.c:39: error: `Ecore_Event_Window_Expose' undeclared (first use in > this function) main.c:39: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported > only once main.c:39: error: for each function it appears in.) > main.c:39: error: `e' undeclared (first use in this function) > main.c:41: error: parse error before ')' token > --------------------------snap--------------------------------------------
