ib is still 5.1.1 so I didn't see this until now. But I
can confirm that 5.1.2 makes the test fail.

. As opposite to dr16-on-ubuntu, nautilus on dr17-on-suse doesn't
show hardware connected in the Computer View).
They otherwise show up fine under KDE & GNOME in 10.2 & 9.3. Unplug & replug
doesn't change this.
-Did I missed an e17 specific File Manager (avoiding Nautilus/Konquero
FYI
Works good on e16 with old p4 desktop with Edgy
Works equally good with e16 on Sony Laptop with Dapper
Both Alsa, different soundcards, no strange behaviour, install from ubuntu
repositories (Outdated version I KNOW!)
