notes can I store the notes somewhere like tomboy?

Yeh , even the dark theme as well as detour-e17 does not have anything
like notifications. :-(

In gnome or kde whenever there is a IRC message is received the task bar
blinks and indicates that there is some new message in channel. In the
same way is it possible to have in e17. I open my xchat and other kopete
windows and put them in shelves and if there is new message how to get
notified. I

Yeh i have modified the display manager via yast. It affects the
/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager file
