I, for me, have sticked to 0.17.3. Tried the third without any success, crash of ecore_x_init in enlightenment_start, if I remember it well from the apport (i'm in xubuntu). But... Maybe it's a stupid question... How do I accomplish the 2nd choice? How can I disable the splash screen without any config? Prior to start E after any config, open a framebuffer terminal and try to eet-disable-splash-screen the e.cfg?
