Is there any other way of getting pictures up on the desktop then? The main

be sure to reexecute ./autogen.sh before compiling.
i didn't remove the code containing the e_lib thing, but i disabled the
picture functionnality so it wont build that code.

I think only the ELib.h include was taken out. My CVS Version from
yesterday doesnt load dEvian at all. It compiles, but doesnt load,
because of missing e_lib_shutdown e_lib_init ...

Hmm.. I realize that the dEvian module, by being part of the background
canvas, usually pops up its news windows below application windows...
but is there any way to get these windows to popup over an application
window? I like to use up all my real estate, so I always have to move a
window out of

it's a quite lovely piece of software..
There is however, a problem..
I have a desktop wallpaper that is not a solid dark color, and thus, the
100% transparent nature of the devians and the popups make it real hard
to read anything.. I have the same prob
