I'm trying to modify a desktop entry through the E17 Desktop Entry Editor (after right clicking on an icon from my iBar). Clicking Apply or OK saves the change in the .desktop file under ~/.local/share/applications but the change doesn't take effect on the icon in the bar. Even after an E restart.
However, if I clear out my .cache/efreet dir and rebuild then it will take affect after restart, so I assume the problem is in efreet or with a signal not being sent when a change has been made. Any debug ideas?
