When i do it in a directory with some images it sometimes indexes the
images up to a point, but stops responding and the thumbs are not
generated. In some directorys it simply does nothing. But after every
action it hangs.
When i do it in a directory with 1 image and some other files i get :

If you run epsilon_thumbd from the command line, and in another window
run epsilon_thumb_test , is there any output on
either console or does one just hang immediately?
