If you're using screen, it will take care of the buffering in place of
the terminal. Ctrl-A [ to enter hilight mode, from where you can
move around the buffer using arrow keys and pgup / pgdn. Escape to go
back to input mode, or Enter to mark selection start and end points,
with Ctrl-A ] to paste.
