well, i finally managed to solve this stuff. The issue came from PAM
side, not E (although E didn't worked properly with pam stuff).
I have to comment some lines in files /etc/pam.d/common-auth and
/etc/pam.d/common-password (all lines which include pam_ecryptfs)

I've never had ecryptfs installed on my computer, nor any lines
referincing it in on of the PAM config files...

yes I've checked my E compile options and PAM is definitely enabled for
me.
The strange thing is, that it worked a long time and then after updating
to the newest SVN release sometimes it works, sometimes not. The change
is always after recompiling, it doesn't seem runtime related.

first rule here is to always blame the forecast module.

Yes, i recall i got the same issue in a previous compilation. It used
to work some time before, and pam is installed and working and E is
also compiled with pam support (as i wasn't sure, i recompiled E with
--enable-pam)
