these errors comming from old Ecore headers, laying in /opt/e17/include/
Now, ecore need to use headers in /opt/e17/include/ecore-1, so rename (or
delete) old ones, and it should fix your errors.

At any rate, I'm a packrat who never *really* deletesI just mv'ed
everything (I've even set up rm as an alias to mv! I know--not very unix-y
of me... but I'm prone to error!).

Please, clean and uninstall all your previous e17 packages, and it should be

else is Ubuntu repositories. It is possible that the upgrade is a red
herring, but I had successfully compiled e17 from svn (easy script again)
less than a week before upgrade and have not been able to recompile it
since.
