hello, I am using gentoo ppc wth e-17 cvs, and there is no problem but recently almost 2 month, I got same fail message. That is -- if powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I../.. -I../../src/bin -I../../src/lib -DUSE_E_CONFIG_H -I/usr/X11R6/include -DLOWRES_PDA=1 -DMEDI

Here an old answer I give a not so long ago... It shall work even under a PPC arch despite I can't get mine too run as it is a Performa6400/200 with lot of in house hack from Apple to circumvent. Some modules don't build anymore... The solution use USE flag to skip those modules that you don't
