Hi! I really like erss but I have few problems with it.
First, it fails to parse some feeds, for example: $ erss -c /usr/share/erss/config/slashdot.cfg stories in /usr/share/erss/config/slashdot.cfg: 5 erss info: connecting to slashdot.org... erss info: requesting "http://slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf";... erss info: reading "Slashdot" (251 octets)... erss info: disconnecting from slashdot.org... erss warn: buffer not parsed successfully. erss error: could not connect to 'http://slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf' erss error: parsing data erss error: are you sure you have to correct input in your config file? erss info: connection information only displays on the first connect. or $ erss -c /usr/share/erss/config/bbc_science.cfg stories in /usr/share/erss/config/bbc_science.cfg: 5 erss info: connecting to news.bbc.co.uk... erss info: requesting "http://news.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/sci/tech/rss091.xml";... erss info: reading "BBC Science" (621 octets)... erss info: disconnecting from news.bbc.co.uk... erss warn: buffer not parsed successfully. erss error: could not connect to 'http://news.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/sci/tech/rss091.xml' erss error: parsing data erss error: are you sure you have to correct input in your config file? erss info: connection information only displays on the first connect. Second, it sometimes fails to parse URL, for example: $ erss -c ~/tmp/bug.cfg /home/vedranf/tmp/bug.cfg:7: parser error : EntityRef: expecting ';' <url>http://www.bug.hr/rss/?ch=it&f=bolvijesti.xml</url> ^ erss error: No match for /home/vedranf/tmp/bug.cfg This URL is valid, try it with firefox. And third, there is some strange graphics corruption (not always) when starting erss, look here: http://www.riteh.hr/~vedranf/linux/erss_corruption.png but as soon as I move it with alt+Lmouse it (the corruption) is gone and everything is fine (and transparent).
