Besides, you don't own any wide-angle lenses at all!
The first thing I'd buy, after a photo course is a 20-35 or 17-35 zoom.
If you can afford it, but the 17-35mm f/2.8 L, you'll never need to buy
another. You'll have everything covered from 20-300mm. You need that
way before you need a 300mm
I don't want to risk insulting anyone, but if you don't know the answer
to the question "Why would I want 1/3 stop control rather than 1/2 stop
control?" You need to spend your money on a photo course rather than a
new camera.

Hello Jason,
Dear EOS list members,
I've just begun to understand how the Canon AIM system works, no thanks
to either the EOS 1v or 3 manuals.
What I'm totally in the dark about is how the evaluative metering
handles a scene when manual focusing.

Dieter I grew up in Toronto and can say that you have chosen a great area to

Hi!
I'd seriously consider upgrading lenses first.
New/better body won't improve your pictures(unless you need 1/8000s).

That'd leave you with a gap between 105 and 300 which, for me would be
serious. BTW, it's Canon, not .
