ANYTHING would likely vignette on the front of a 12mm, and gel filters are

grip is big and the body is heavy enough to make it feel strong. AF is very

Yes, if you have some serious dust problems and just blowing doesn't
help. You can either take it to a service centre, or do it yourself.
Perhaps this service will be offer

Very interesting. However the price tag seems to be a bit high for such a
slow aperture. I wonder how distortion will be like at the 12 mm end with a
full frame sensor. More likely than not it will be "fisheye zoom". But then
again, this lens is clearly targeted at the small sensor camera market.

Jim,
When I referred to mail-order in my earlier post, I was not referring to
solely mail-order suppliers, but to shops with no more than, say, three
sites. Just like B&H.
Cheers

Too bad it's only an f4.5-5.6 max aperture. But it
does offer an alternative Canon doesn't, yet.
By the way

Looks like Sigma is quitely stealing the lens technology show here (Not
merely copying anymore but really innovating now - First a 100-300/2.8 that
gets great reviews and now this!). If only they could get the quality right
on this one (optical and mechanical) they'll hav
