to nearly 10"x15" at 300dpi without resizing.)
A well executed digital photograph can be enlarged
with care quite significantly.
I have a 12"x18" 360dpi print made from a 3 MP RAW

Get the 5d - you won't be sorry. Even if the 6D or 3D or whatever it
is comes out soon you will not "have" to upgrade, and in any case
the 5D will hold decent value for quite a while if you decide to sell
