Don, Thank you. You are absolutely right, so I stand corrected. I checked the 580EX manual and it does state that CF03-1 (which is A-TTL) is not to be used with digital. So the choice is only manual. Gerard, may I suggest you consider that in this situation or similar use a different flash. P
