Hi Friends, Use an EOS 50E and ELAN 7 with a 420EX and 550EX for fashion shows. Fashion shows being fast action [quick ramp walks] I have a problem with my two flashes. Being dedicated and expensive flashes I thought I would have no problem with doing such shows..
The trouble is that after each shot, there is a battery re-cycle delay. Which makes it impossible to do continuous shoots... Second, when the shows are at nights, and the general ambience is dark, the flashes fire all over the place and gives washed out white results. Never expected such results from supposed-to-be pro. flash-guns. Of course, I am set on E-TTL....and probably that's the reason. Can anyone give any suggestions on shooting such shows and if Manual mode is more ideal....and at what settings... and/or anything that may be of help here. Trust I will hear from many here....
