Never being afraid to be the odd man out, for portraits I like Kodachrome 64 with a Heliopan 81A filter. It has to be a Heliopan 81A filter, which are a little stronger, but just the right tone. Kodachrome 64 is reasonably flat, making it a nice portrait film. RMS numbers I find close to use

I find B+W and Heliopan circular polarizers are much more neutral than Tiffen, a major factor if you shoot chromes. Typically Heliopan circular polarizers are less expensive than B+W, especially the slim ones, and are calibrated (have index numbers) for rangefinder use. Michael ___
