Buy a Rebel II or Rebel IIs and use the soft-focus
setting. :-) (It makes the 100mm f2 particulary

The soft focus mode on the Rebel II and IIs wasn't a barcode program;
there's an SF setting on the command dial, and the main dial is used to
select between 2 degrees of soft focus ef

The Rebel SII is equivalent to the EOS 1000FN (which I still
have) that has the SF (soft focus) fun
nce.
To me the 135 has a big advantage because it frees you to
buy a more modern body, like the2000 or 7e.
