Thanks for your response. I don't care for the sand bag approach since the
camera is not firmly attached to the tripod. Any bump could result in a
disaster... The Manfrotto mount looks interesting, but it doesn't appear to
permit vertical shots since it is fixed to the camera's trip

I've been reading the "EOS Reversing Lens for Macro" thread with great
interest. I have a question: how do you mount the camera + 75-300mmIS +
