I can attest to that. VERY sharp, good color and minimal distortion
for a zoom. I heard that some medical testing company bought large
numbers of them for some sort of calibration machinery. Doesn't
surprise me, the detail in the chromes I got back was eye-popping. I
don't recall any corner
I've been told that the Tamron 20-40 is a good
performer, but wouldn't know first hand as I
have a 17-35L.
