There only needs to be a single implementation, it will learn its properties
from other services. If we standardize it then any developer can leverage it.

This might be unfortunate but I find it hard to see why that is a limitation
since any solution that satisfies all requirements should be ok.

Should happen before the end of next month. We’re working on making ALL OSGi
enRoute bundles available in Maven Central.
In this case you might want to copy the source code since the bundle is so
trivial.

. This will export them from the framework side. Since these are
resolved from the start and the uses constraints match the framework it is
extremely unlikely they are not picked.
You’re in a nice mess …

If you’re starting to develop on OSGi you might want to checkout [OSGi
enRoute][1] (an OSGi project). It has many tutorials and examples to get
started with OSGi (and Equinox) quickly.

We are organizing an OSGi Devcon together with Jazoon in Zürich on
June 22. You can find the details here:

We have a very strong program and the price is only about €80! Hope to
see you in Zurich!

I could download the files daily and create the index, but it would be
nicer if this was done at the source.

Bnd also makes it easy to make certain dependencies optional when it
generates the manifest. This can be important if you want your bundle
to run in different environments where not all dependencies are
present.
And it has so many other cool features ... ;-)
