When I Start a
capture session, the following error is displayed:
"The Capture Session
could not be initiated (Please check to see that the proper adapter is
specified)"
No interfaces are
found by the software (apparently) and entering the IP address or eth1 doesn't
work.
I am
using:
WinNT server 4.0 on
dual intel PIII 1.4 GHz
dual Intel 10/100
NICs (neither show up in the capture screen)
WinPcap 3 alpha

Ethereal is
0.9.6
