According to the documentation that I can find for the EL2522, it only uses
SYNC0, so I'm not sure what you're referring to here.  (Granted I only
glanced through so I might have missed something.)

The reason it's not supported is that it doesn't exist.  There is no
register in the ESC that configures a SYNC1 shift time and AFAIK it doesn't
exist as a concept in the Beckhoff documentation for any slave device.  So
you are probably misinterpreting something if you're wanting to set that,
since there's no such thing.
