In the past when I have shopped for a webcam (several years ago)
I noticed that almost none of them had Linux support. I just
tried a Philips one that my roommate uses (under Windoze).
Alas, it doesn't work under Ubuntu Edgy.
What webcam do you use?

For those who've been there, yes. While you're there stop by Ben
& Bill's for some lobster ice cream. Can't knock it until you
try it.
That be all,

Portland's not the only place for food & beer in theaters :)
Somewhere in Acadia National Park in Maine, snow camping for spring break,
we found a nice warm theater with microbrews, couches, and fresh gourmet
pizza...
Don't get me wrong, Portland (OR) is a great place to live!
I like it right here
The Mission can be a lot of fun - small, but lots of charm. They were
showing two Firefly episodes there every Tuesday night all summer long,
followed by a couple days of Serenity in September. I took a couple of

Ah, thanks for the help everyone. :)
Yeah, that little "north" makes a difference, and the Google Transit
link is great.
And, finally, I'm in Springfield, a few blocks from the Springfield
Station.

I will not be able to attend Euglug / /. party tonight. I will try to
drop off the swag if it arrives at my house. I will see everyone next

There is a bus stop nearly directly across the street from my
house. Also, post your location. Someone may be able to give you
a ride.

Since I've not been out there yet... any advice on the buses? I'm
assuming I'd take the 41, then get off... around Fairfield? Or is there
some prominent landmark to look out for? Thanks in advance. :)

Hard to compete with the Boston Science Museum, but Portland's got class,
hey we even got a new Van Gogh, it will be worth the trip to the museum for
that!
