After far too much fiddling to be healthy, I have finally gotten it working again... I believe the latest upgrade did something wierd to the configuration. I reinstalled about everything and somehow it worked Scroll Lock still doesn't light up the LED, so I'll keep tinkering some... Thanks

It sounds like your keyboard map is messed up. Does whatever window manager(GUI) you use have some tool to configure it? If so open it and make sure you are using the US keyboard. I Can't remember whether it is 102, 103, or 105 keys keyboard. It will be an enlish language keyboard and not the i

Recently, my keyboard has been having troubles. The Caps Lock key does not work at all within X, but works in console. While in console, the LED doesn't light up, but it still works. While in X, Num Lock works (and the LED lights up), and scroll lock doesn't light (not sure if it works or not).
