If you get a digital cable box you'll have a component option.
Only old analog boxen have composite only. Oh, and my Wii only
has composite. Need to buy the component adapter. Sure beats the
old days having to buy an RF modulator just to hook up the NES
to my 19" TV.

(although I think most Craptastic set-top boxen only hav composite video
out) into MythTV, and train an RF-transceiver to C's box. It doesn't sound

The unencrypted ones are only the publicly free over the air via TV/FM
tuner. All others channels are encrypted/blocked (blocked via firewire
port).
Guess I'll wait another year. Would rather have the ease of use of
Mythtv rather then the hassle of digital TV with the slow & bulky
digital set to
None yet. I've tried. There are supposedly a few unencrypted HD
channels you can get with a QAM tuner. ATI breaks QAM support on
their card (though I'm unsure if the linuxtv firmware supports
it). In the meantime I'd like to pick up a better card at some
point. Something with at least hardware enco

area yet?
