I tend towards "apt-cache search --names-only foo" for package searches.. does this earn me
reprobate points?
While we're on the topic, the Xandros distro came up with their own GUI tool called "Xandros
Networks". I found it to be *almost* handy enough to wean me off of apt-cache, but the long load
time was a drag..
