This topic interest me, because I bought a Worx 36V electric mower
last year - it was cheap because no battery was available to even
test it and later I found out why - the motor controller was
totally burned out
So, I need to decide to either build a pack that can run the
mower without contro
To answer my own question, it looks like 212 is full throttle since according
to Otmar's blog post: http://www.cafeelectricpress.com/blog/?p=16
0xD4 is full throttle (which happens to be 212 in decimal).
So, I guess I need to look at if I'm hitting a current limit or low voltage
limit.
Does anyone have any tips for debugging my HEPA throttle on my z2k?
I am finally getting my EV on the road and it's seeming like I'm not getting
full throttle.
I was looking at it with the wonderful zillaconfig today and it was reporting
that the throttle was varying between around 57 and 212.

This is ancient history, but Otmar Ebenhoech, of Zilla Fame, built an
electric wheel barrow back in the 80's
I have a picture ( pre-digital ) of him driving it somewhere. You
might contact him...

As long as they can use the same cells, yes, they'll build a custom battery.

LiFePO4 cells from ThunderSky (2005) seem to have good calendar life.
Temperature seems to have more effect than cycling. Even if charged up
to 100% (4.25v).
But all is changed now since the old white ones are quite different
from the new yellow ones. The old white works better in cold climate.

can they build to certain custom size demensions ?
pingbattery.com has got some decent opinions from the bicycle people at
endless-sphere.com. Their pack also includes charger.
