While it is true that EMW never UL-approved the Juicebox, they did get
approval from other safety testing (another commercial company than UL)
so there is no indication that JuiceBox is unsafe or would be a problem
with your insurance as suggested, I consider that either ignorance or
fear-mongering

I consider it a great honor that I joined the New England Electric Auto
Association (NEEAA) when Bob was president of the chapter. The meetings
were held at his house and he always cooked up a rockin' chili. The
collection of odds-and-ends and vehicles at his place was always very
interesting.
Do not install juice box in the CA Bay Area as it is not approved. Red flag
when you sell or even worse, have a fire. I would think most would be aware
of this problem that has manifested.
